CCH - Congress Center Hamburg

 

Hamburg is Germany’s second largest city, and yet it has more waterways and at the same time more green spaces than any other city in Germany. Following the new construction of a 7000 square metre multi-function exhibition hall and the associated conference area, the CCH-Congress Center Hamburg has regained its top position in international competition.

This modern conference centre has expanded its exhibition space to a total of 10,000 square metres with a new hall, which fully meets the requirements of the international conference and meetings business. Together with the new conference area, the CCH has 23 fully air-conditioned conference rooms, and seats a total of 12,500 people in addition to the exhibition space. The compact design ensures that everything is close together at the CCH.

Another major benefit of the CCH is its attractive location – CCH visitors can walk from the foyers straight into Europe’s largest shrub roofgarden. KÖLCSEY CONVENTION CENTRE DEBRECEN, HUNGARY

 

The Kölcsey Convention Centre, with its 13,000m2 area, is the largest, the most modern and the most well-equipped centre in Eastern-Hungary.

It is located in Debrecen, which is the second largest city in Hungary, 220 kilometres far from Budapest. The city is not only the cultural and scientific centre of the region, but also a marvellous place of various festivals and cultural events. Moreover, Debrecen is the city of a flourishing bath culture and a distinctive health centre as well. The centuries’ old traditions and the most recent technical and scientific innovations enhancing each other make Debrecen a nationally and internationally renowned city.

You could hardly find a better location for a convention or a conference than the Kölcsey Convention Centre. The ample spaces that can be fitted to size, the state-of-the-art technical equipment available, the top-quality catering service in a restaurant, and bars would all justify that you have made the right choice…

The Grand Hall, the individual section halls, the elegant Ballroom, and even the Exhibition Hall, together with the sunlit Entrance Hall and foyer, offer a perfect venue for any kind of lecture, performance, ball, reception, exhibition or exposition.

The Grand Hall is the ideal location for large-scale conferences, balls, receptions, concerts, and exhibitions. Due to the adjoining separable section halls, its capacity can be adjusted to seat from 780 to 1200 people. It has a mobile stage, which can open directly to the truck entrance, separated only with a mobile wall section. As a result, it can be furnished without any particular difficulty whatsoever. The hall has excellent acoustic features, provided by a special system optimizing the sound effects generated in the hall.

The Ballroom is wonderfully versatile: it is a perfect place for conferences, wedding parties, receptions, corporate functions, small concerts and theatre performances. Since its stage can be separated at will, the room size may vary between 160-350 seats.

The Section halls seating 30-80 people can be used for hosting business meetings or presentations. For larger size conventions, they can be configured to accommodate as many as 90-150 guests

Apart from housing artistic exhibitions, the Exhibition Hall can also be fitted with a number of individual stalls or booths and can even be used as a conference venue with a seating capacity of 260.

Spacious and filled with natural light, the Foyer sections can be almost organically linked to events held inside the halls, as excellent locations for coffee breaks, buffet or sit-down receptions, poster presentations, and larger scale food-station receptions.

The Convention Centre has direct access to an exclusive hotel with 88 double bedrooms and 4 apartment rooms, which add up to 192 places altogether.

Below the centre lies a 9,000 m² parking garage that can take 300 parking spaces, which is connected with the main building with elevators and stairs.
